William Ehrman

William Ehrman is a British former diplomat. He served as the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan from 2000 to 2003, and subsequently as the Director General Defence and Intelligence at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) from 2006 to 2010. He was knighted in 2010. Prior to his ambassadorship, Ehrman held various positions within the FCO, including roles dealing with security policy and Eastern European affairs. Since retiring from the diplomatic service, he has been involved in advisory roles, particularly in the area of cybersecurity and geopolitical risk.
