Jack Combs (baseball)

Jack Combs (born July 28, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels in 2011.

Combs attended Rice University, where he played college baseball for the Rice Owls. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 11th round of the 2007 MLB draft. He was later traded to the Los Angeles Angels organization.

Combs made his MLB debut on May 29, 2011, for the Los Angeles Angels. He appeared in 12 games for the Angels in 2011, pitching 19 innings and posting a 6.63 ERA. He was primarily a relief pitcher.

He continued playing in the minor leagues after his stint with the Angels, playing for various organizations including the Texas Rangers and the Tampa Bay Rays.
