Jabberwocky (band)

Jabberwocky is a French indie pop duo formed in Poitiers in 2013. The band consists of Camille Camara and Emmanuel Bretou. Initially, the group was a quartet, but two members departed prior to their major label release.

Jabberwocky gained prominence with their single "Photomaton," which was featured in a Peugeot commercial. The song's success propelled them into the French music scene and beyond. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, layered electronic soundscapes, and English lyrics.

In 2015, Jabberwocky released their debut album, "Lunar Lane." The album further solidified their signature sound and received generally positive reviews. They have toured extensively, performing at various festivals and venues across Europe.

While "Photomaton" remains their most well-known track, Jabberwocky has continued to release music, exploring different sonic textures and collaborations. They remain an active presence in the indie pop scene.
