Ivan Bek

Ivan Bek (born 29 October 1909 in Belgrade, Kingdom of Serbia; died 2 June 1963 in Sète, France) was a Yugoslav football player and manager. He was primarily a forward.

Bek began his club career playing for FK Mačva Šabac and BSK Belgrade. He achieved significant recognition while playing for FC Sète in France, where he won the French championship in 1934 and the Coupe de France in 1930.

Internationally, Bek represented Yugoslavia at the 1928 Summer Olympics and the 1930 FIFA World Cup, where Yugoslavia reached the semi-finals. He also played for the French national team, having obtained French citizenship.

After his playing career, Bek became a football manager. His managerial career was less extensively documented than his playing career.

Bek's dual representation of both Yugoslavia and France on the international stage is a notable feature of his career, reflecting the football environment of the interwar period. He is remembered as a skilled forward and a significant figure in the early history of both Yugoslav and French football.
