Ion Ioanid

Ion Ioanid is a Romanian computer scientist and professor of computer science at Stanford University. He is known for his research in database management systems, data mining, and distributed systems.

Ioanid received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1990. Before joining Stanford, he was a researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.

His research contributions span several key areas:
