Francesco Guarini (bishop)
Francesco Guarini (1610 – 1651) was an Italian Roman Catholic bishop.
Guarini was born in Gravina in Puglia. He served as the Bishop of Nusco from 1650 until his death in 1651. He was appointed to the position on January 24, 1650, and died the following year. Details of his activities and accomplishments as bishop are scant. His short tenure suggests a possible illness contributing to his early demise. He is less well-known than the painter of the same name.
