Ingolstadt (electoral district)

The Ingolstadt electoral district (German: Wahlkreis Ingolstadt) is a German Bundestag electoral district located in Bavaria. It covers the cities of Ingolstadt and Neuburg an der Donau, as well as parts of the districts of Eichstätt and Neuburg-Schrobenhausen.

Historically, the electoral district has been a stronghold of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU). It has consistently been won by the CSU candidate in nearly every federal election since its establishment.

The boundaries of the electoral district have been subject to periodic revisions to ensure equitable representation based on population distribution. The current boundaries reflect the demographic changes observed in the region.
