Inconscientes (band)
Inconscientes is a Spanish rock band formed in 2006 by Iñaki "Uoho" Antón, formerly of Extremoduro and Platero y Tú. The band's lineup also includes Jon Calvo (guitar and vocals), Miguel Colino (bass), and José Ignacio Cantera (drums).
Inconscientes emerged after Extremoduro went on hiatus, providing a creative outlet for Uoho's musical ideas. Their music is generally considered to be within the hard rock and blues rock genres, often drawing comparisons to Uoho's previous work with Extremoduro due to his distinctive guitar style and songwriting influence.
The band released two studio albums: La Inconsciencia de Uoho (2007) and Quimeras y Otros Sueños (2016). La Inconsciencia de Uoho featured collaborations with several guest musicians, including Roberto Iniesta ("Robe"), the frontman of Extremoduro. Quimeras y Otros Sueños marked a return after a period of inactivity.
In addition to their studio albums, Inconscientes have also released live recordings and participated in various music festivals. While not achieving the same level of commercial success as Extremoduro, Inconscientes has cultivated a dedicated fanbase drawn to their energetic live performances and Uoho's continued presence in the Spanish rock scene. The band is seen as a continuation, albeit with a different sound and focus, of the musical legacy established by Uoho in his previous projects.
