Ida (river)
The Ida is a river located in eastern Slovakia. It is a right tributary of the Bodva river. It originates in the Volovské vrchy mountains, part of the Slovak Ore Mountains, and flows generally southeastward through the Košice Region. The river passes through or near the towns and villages of Medzev, Jasov, and Čečejovce before joining the Bodva. The Ida river basin is primarily agricultural and forested. Its length is approximately 56 kilometers (35 miles).
