Jimmie Baker (basketball)
Jimmie Baker (born c. 1953) is a former American basketball player. A 6'9" forward/center, Baker played college basketball for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors from 1972 to 1976. He was a significant contributor during his time with the team, helping them achieve success in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
While statistics from his college career may be incomplete in public archives, Baker was known for his rebounding and defensive presence. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1976 NBA draft but did not play in the NBA. He went on to play professionally overseas.
