A481 road

The A481 is a minor A road in Powys, Wales. It runs for approximately 23 miles (37 km) from its junction with the A44 in Aberystwyth to its junction with the A470 in Builth Wells. The road traverses a generally rural and hilly landscape, passing through or near several small villages and settlements. Its route largely follows the course of the River Wye. The A481 provides a local connection between the coast at Aberystwyth and the more central areas of Powys and beyond, linking to major north-south routes like the A470.
