Ian Johnson (footballer, born 1960)

Ian Johnson (born 27 December 1960) is a former English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career at Sheffield Wednesday, making his debut in the Football League in 1979. He went on to make over 100 league appearances for the Owls before joining Birmingham City in 1984. After a brief spell with the Blues, he moved to Chesterfield, where he also made a significant number of appearances. He later played for Scarborough before ending his professional career. Details of his career after professional football are scarce.
