Howard Grant (boxer)

Howard Grant (born November 6, 1966) is a Canadian former professional boxer. He competed from 1987 to 1998. Grant represented Canada at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, where he reached the quarterfinals in the Light Middleweight division.

As a professional, Grant primarily fought as a Light Middleweight. He won the Canadian Light Middleweight title in 1991, defeating Gary Smikle. He defended the title successfully multiple times. Grant also fought for the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Light Middleweight title but was unsuccessful.

Throughout his career, Grant faced several notable opponents, including Lonnie Beasley, whom he defeated. He retired from professional boxing with a record of 29 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw.
