Heddøla

Heddøla is a river located in Telemark county, Norway. It flows through the municipalities of Notodden and Sauherad (now part of Midt-Telemark). The Heddøla originates from the lake Heddalsvatnet and empties into the Sauarelva river near Akkerhaugen. The Sauarelva then flows into the Norsjø lake, which is part of the Telemark Canal system.

The Heddøla has historically been important for timber floating and agriculture. The river's watershed is also used for hydroelectric power generation.
