Short Stories (Jon and Vangelis album)

Short Stories is a 1980 collaborative album by Jon Anderson, lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes, and Vangelis, the Greek electronic musician known for his film scores and solo work. It was the first album released under the moniker Jon and Vangelis. The album blends elements of progressive rock, new age, and pop, and is characterized by Vangelis's distinctive synthesizer textures and Anderson's soaring vocals and often cryptic lyrics.

The album reached number 4 in the UK Albums Chart and featured the hit single "I Hear You Now," which showcased a more accessible and commercially oriented sound than either artist had typically pursued in their individual careers.
