Bounty Killer (film)

Bounty Killer is a 2013 post-apocalyptic action film directed by Henry Saine and starring Matthew Marsden, Christian Pitre, and Kristanna Loken. The film is based on Saine's 2011 short film of the same name.

The film is set in a future where corporations have taken over the world and driven it to ruin. Following the Corporate Wars, an organization known as the Council of Nine sanctions bounty hunters, called Bounty Killers, to execute white-collar criminals who are deemed responsible for the economic collapse. These Bounty Killers become celebrities and are heavily publicized.

The plot centers on Drifter (Marsden), one of the most skilled and famous Bounty Killers, and his new apprentice, Mary Death (Pitre). Drifter begins to question the morality of the Council's system and suspects a larger conspiracy at play, while Mary Death struggles to prove herself and earn Drifter's respect. The film features over-the-top action, dark humor, and a stylized visual aesthetic reminiscent of graphic novels and exploitation films.
