Havulinna

Havulinna was a Finnish company that manufactured pianos and other musical instruments. It was founded in Helsinki in 1918 by Robert Emil Westerlund, who had previously worked for Fazer, another prominent Finnish music company.

Havulinna pianos were known for their quality craftsmanship and their use of Finnish materials. The company produced both upright and grand pianos, which were popular in homes, schools, and concert halls throughout Finland.

Throughout its history, Havulinna faced various economic challenges. In the 1960s, increasing competition from foreign piano manufacturers began to impact the company's market share.

The Havulinna factory was eventually closed in 1978. While the brand no longer exists as a manufacturing entity, Havulinna pianos are still found in many Finnish homes and are sometimes restored or sold as vintage instruments. The name remains associated with a period of Finnish musical instrument manufacturing history.
