Defence Command (Finland)

The Defence Command (Finnish: Puolustusvoimain komentokeskus, Swedish: Försvarsmaktens kommandocentral) is the highest headquarters of the Finnish Defence Forces. It is responsible for commanding and controlling all branches of the Finnish military, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The Defence Command is led by the Chief of Defence (Finnish: Puolustusvoimain komentaja, Swedish: Kommendören för försvarsmakten), who is the highest-ranking military officer in Finland. The Chief of Defence reports directly to the President of Finland, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Finnish Defence Forces.

The primary functions of the Defence Command include:
