Haval H8

The Haval H8 was a mid-size SUV produced by the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors under its Haval brand. It was initially launched in the Chinese market in 2015 after several delays. The H8 was positioned as a more premium and technologically advanced offering compared to other models in Haval's lineup.

Key features of the Haval H8 included its turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine, automatic transmission, available all-wheel drive, and a range of safety and convenience features. These features often included things like a large touchscreen infotainment system, leather seats, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

The H8 aimed to compete with established foreign brands in the Chinese SUV market. However, it faced challenges in terms of sales and reliability reports. It was eventually replaced by newer and more successful models within the Haval range. Production was discontinued after a relatively short period.

While the Haval H8 is no longer in production, it represented Haval's ambition to move into a higher market segment and offered a stepping stone for the development of future Haval SUVs. Its design and features influenced later Haval models.
