David Ross (Continental Congress)

David Ross (1728-1797) was a delegate from Virginia to the Continental Congress from 1781 to 1782. He was a prominent merchant and iron manufacturer in Virginia during the Revolutionary War era. Ross played a significant role in supplying the Continental Army with essential goods, particularly iron products, which were vital for the war effort.

Born in Scotland, Ross immigrated to Virginia and established himself as a successful businessman.
