Hasseløy
Hasseløy is an island in the municipality of Haugesund in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the Karmsundet strait, just east of the island of Karmøy and southwest of the town of Haugesund.
The island is connected to the mainland and the rest of Haugesund by a series of bridges and tunnels, notably the Karmsund Bridge. Hasseløy is primarily a residential area, but also has some commercial and industrial activity. The island's area is approximately 3.9 square kilometers.
Historically, Hasseløy was a separate municipality from 1866 until 1955, when it was merged into the municipality of Torvastad. In 1965, Torvastad was incorporated into Haugesund.
