Hasaranga
Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva (born July 29, 1997) is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who currently captains the Sri Lanka national cricket team in both One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) formats. He is primarily a right-arm leg spin bowler and a right-handed batsman.
Hasaranga is known for his variations and control as a bowler, often deceiving batsmen with changes in pace and trajectory. He is also a capable lower-order batsman known for his aggressive stroke play.
He made his international debut for Sri Lanka in 2017. Since then, he has become a key member of the Sri Lankan team, contributing significantly in both bowling and batting departments, particularly in limited-overs cricket. Hasaranga has also played in various franchise leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Big Bash League (BBL). His performances in these leagues have further enhanced his reputation as a valuable all-rounder.
