Emil Väre
Emil Väre (1885-1974) was a Finnish wrestler who competed in Greco-Roman wrestling. He was a two-time Olympic gold medalist, winning in 1912 (Stockholm) in the lightweight division and in 1920 (Antwerp) in the middleweight division. Väre also won a silver medal at the 1911 World Wrestling Championships. He represented Finland throughout his career. He is considered one of Finland's greatest wrestlers.
