Harry Webster (footballer, born 1930)
Harry Webster (born 23 November 1930) was an English professional footballer. A right half, he played in the Football League for Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town.
Webster began his career with Port Vale, signing as an amateur in October 1948, turning professional in February 1950. He made his debut in a 3–1 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on 17 April 1950. He played 20 Second Division games in the 1950–51 season. He played 32 league and cup games in the 1951–52 campaign, helping the "Valiants" to finish eighth. He played 24 games in 1952–53 and 13 games in 1953–54, as the club won the Third Division North title. He featured just five times in the 1954–55 season, and was given a free transfer in May 1955.
He joined Shrewsbury Town, where he played 13 Third Division South games in the 1955–56 season before leaving the Gay Meadow.
