Beauty & the Beat (EP)

Beauty & the Beat is a collaborative extended play (EP) by American electronic music producers Seven Lions and Skrillex, along with Canadian singer and songwriter Grimes. It was released on December 20, 2011, as a free download through Skrillex's OWSLA label.

The EP consists of three tracks. It showcases a fusion of dubstep, electro house, and trance elements, characteristic of Seven Lions and Skrillex's respective styles. Grimes' vocals are featured on the title track, "Beauty and the Beat." The other tracks are instrumental.

The release garnered significant attention within the electronic dance music community, contributing to the rise of both Seven Lions and Grimes. "Beauty and the Beat" remains a popular track and is often cited as an early example of genre blending within electronic music.
