Hatnua

Hatnua (Hebrew: הַתְּנוּעָה, lit. "The Movement") is a political party in Israel. It was founded in November 2012 by Tzipi Livni after she left Kadima.

Livni led the party in the 2013 Israeli legislative election, where it won six seats in the Knesset. The party joined Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition government and Livni served as Minister of Justice.

Prior to the 2015 Israeli legislative election, Hatnua formed a joint list with the Israeli Labor Party, called the Zionist Union. The Zionist Union won 24 seats in the Knesset, making it the second-largest party. Livni and Hatnua served in the opposition.

In February 2019, Livni announced her resignation from the Knesset and the dissolution of Hatnua, stating that the party had failed to make an impact.
