Hadeel Ibrahim

Hadeel Ibrahim is a Sudanese businesswoman and philanthropist. She is the founding Executive Director of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, a non-grant making organization that focuses on defining, assessing, and enhancing governance and leadership in Africa. Established in 2006, the Foundation is best known for the Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership, awarded to former African heads of state who have demonstrated exceptional leadership. Hadeel Ibrahim played a crucial role in developing the Foundation's strategy, partnerships, and advocacy efforts. Prior to her work with the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, she held positions in various international organizations focusing on development and human rights.
