GJ Club

The GJ Club (Japanese: GJ部, Hepburn: Guruguru Japan Kabu) is a Japanese manga series written by Shin Araki and illustrated by Arare Umigatsuki. It follows the everyday lives of five high school students in the oddly named "GJ Club" (presumably an abbreviation or acronym, the meaning of which is never explicitly revealed). The club's purpose is ambiguous, seemingly existing for its members to relax, socialize, and engage in eccentric activities.

The series revolves around Kyōya Shinomiya, the sole male member, and the four female members: Mao Amatsuka, the petite and energetic president; Megumi Amatsuka, Mao's gentle and skilled younger sister; Shion Sumeragi, a genius at mathematics and chess but awkward socially; and Kirara Bernstein, a tall, athletic girl with a fondness for meat dishes. The interactions between these characters, characterized by quirky humor and lighthearted situations, form the core of the narrative.

The manga has been adapted into an anime television series, several audio dramas, and light novels. The anime adaptation retained the slice-of-life, comedic nature of the original manga.
