Harpers Ferry (nightclub)

Harpers Ferry was a legendary live music venue located in Allston, Massachusetts, a neighborhood of Boston. Operating from 1972 to 2000, it was a prominent stop on the touring circuit for a diverse range of musical acts, particularly those in the rock, blues, folk, and alternative genres.

The club was known for its intimate setting and strong sound system, making it a favorite among both performers and audiences. Over its nearly three-decade run, Harpers Ferry hosted countless iconic artists, providing a stage for both established names and up-and-coming bands on their way to wider recognition.

Some of the notable acts that graced the Harpers Ferry stage included, but were not limited to, Bonnie Raitt, The Ramones, The Cars, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, and many other influential figures in American music.
