Harold Smith (British politician)

Harold Smith (born 11 July 1876, died 16 December 1924) was a British Conservative Party politician.

Smith was educated at Westminster School and New College, Oxford. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Warrington from 1910 to 1922. He was defeated in the 1922 general election. Smith regained a seat in Parliament at the 1924 general election, winning the Liverpool Wavertree constituency, but died in office later that year.

Smith was a barrister by profession. He was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 1903.

He married Lady Helen Gascoyne-Cecil, daughter of the 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, in 1905.
