Francesco Conti (cardinal)
Francesco Conti (died 1521) was an Italian Roman Catholic cardinal.
Conti was born in Rome, a member of the noble Conti family. He was appointed Bishop of Ancona e Numana in 1504, a position he held until his death.
He was created Cardinal Priest in the consistory of December 1, 1505, by Pope Julius II, and received the title of San Vitale. Later, he opted for the title of Santi Nereo e Achilleo.
Conti served as papal legate to the March of Ancona. He participated in the Fifth Lateran Council.
He participated in the papal conclaves of 1513, which elected Pope Leo X.
Cardinal Conti died in Rome in 1521.
