Jules (film)

Jules is a 2023 American science fiction comedy-drama film directed by Marc Turtletaub. The film stars Ben Kingsley, Jane Curtin, Harriet Sansom Harris, and Zoe Winters.

The plot centers on Milton Robinson (Kingsley), an elderly man living a quiet, routine life in a small town. His life is disrupted when a UFO crashes in his backyard. Inside, he finds an extraterrestrial being, who he names Jules. Milton, along with his neighbors Sandy (Curtin) and Joyce (Harris), secretly take Jules in and attempt to help him repair his ship and return home, while dealing with the complications of keeping Jules a secret from the authorities and the rest of their community. The film explores themes of aging, loneliness, connection, and the acceptance of the unfamiliar.
