Zvíkovec

Zvíkovec is a municipality and village in the Rokycany District, Plzeň Region, Czech Republic. It is located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Rokycany and 50 kilometers west of Prague.

The village is situated on the banks of the Berounka River. The municipality covers an area of approximately 6.5 square kilometers and has a population of around 170 inhabitants (as of 2023 estimates).

Historically, Zvíkovec is known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, particularly folk architecture. The area is also popular for recreational activities such as hiking, cycling, and canoeing on the Berounka River. The local economy is largely based on agriculture and tourism.
