HMS Sturdy (P248)

HMS Sturdy (P248) was an Attacker-class patrol boat of the Royal Navy. She was launched in 1983 and served primarily in the waters around Northern Ireland, supporting the efforts to maintain peace and security during The Troubles. The Attacker class, also known as the Archer class, were designed as fast patrol boats, intended for fishery protection and coastal security roles. Sturdy was decommissioned in 2009 and subsequently sold. Her service life was characterized by routine patrols, boarding of vessels, and general maritime security operations.
