Grieg (crater)
Grieg is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the northwest of the larger craterчноїenkov, and southeast of Bok.
This is a relatively young crater with a well-defined rim and a terraced inner wall. The interior floor is somewhat irregular, with a small central peak. The crater is not particularly degraded, and shows no significant overlapping craters.
Grieg lies within the Freundlich-Sharonov Basin.
It is named after Edvard Grieg, a Norwegian composer and pianist.
