Greg Walker (footballer)
Greg Walker is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Walker, a key defender, was recruited from Leopold and made his AFL debut in 1989. He played 135 games for Geelong between 1989 and 1997, and was known for his strong marking and reliable defensive play. He was a member of the Geelong team that reached the Grand Final in 1989, 1992, 1994, and 1995, although they were ultimately unsuccessful in each attempt.
Following his playing career, Walker has held various coaching roles at local football clubs.
