Robert Stewart (Canadian politician)

Robert Stewart (born c. 1837, died June 14, 1906) was a Canadian politician. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Prince Edward Island representing 3rd Queens from 1879 to 1893.

Stewart was a farmer and merchant from Breadalbane, Prince Edward Island. He was first elected to the provincial legislature in 1879 and re-elected in subsequent elections. He served for 14 years before retiring from politics in 1893. While in the legislature, he was a supporter of the Liberal party. He was also a prominent member of the local agricultural society.
