Vorona (album)

Vorona is the third studio album by the Russian folk metal band Arkona. It was released in 2004 on Sound Age Production. The album features themes of Slavic paganism, mythology, and nature, and its title, "Vorona," translates to "crow" in Russian.

Vorona marked a significant step in Arkona's musical development, incorporating more complex song structures and folk instrumentation than their previous releases. It solidified the band's signature blend of black metal aggression with traditional Slavic melodies and instrumentation, including instruments such as the balalaika and various wind instruments.
