Beam (Barking and Dagenham ward)

Beam is an electoral ward in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Located in the far eastern part of the borough, it is bordered by the London Borough of Havering to the east, the River Thames to the south, River ward to the west, and Village ward to the north.

As a ward, Beam is represented by three councillors on Barking and Dagenham London Borough Council. Elections are held every four years.

The ward's boundaries generally encompass the area surrounding the Beam Valley, a green space and ecological area following the course of the River Beam. Land use within Beam ward is a mix of residential, industrial, and open space. Significant features include industrial estates, areas of newer housing development, and riverside pathways along the Thames. The ward also contains sections of the A13 road.
