Mark Flanagan (rugby union)
Mark Flanagan (born July 26, 1984) is a former Irish rugby union player. He primarily played as a lock.
Flanagan began his professional career with Leinster, where he progressed through the academy. He also represented Ireland at under-age levels. He then moved to Connacht Rugby where he spent several seasons, becoming a regular in the first team. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment in the forward pack.
Following his time with Connacht, Flanagan joined Munster Rugby, further solidifying his reputation as a reliable and experienced second-row forward.
Flanagan announced his retirement from professional rugby at the end of the 2017/2018 season.
