Bill Ludwig (baseball)
William "Bill" Ludwig (born August 23, 1941, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania) is a former professional baseball player. He was a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Athletics in 1966 and the Washington Senators in 1968.
Ludwig attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was signed by the Athletics as an amateur free agent prior to the 1963 season.
In his brief MLB career, Ludwig appeared in a total of 33 games. He had 69 at-bats, collecting 11 hits for a batting average of .159. He scored 5 runs and had 5 RBIs. He also had 2 doubles and no home runs.
