Khalid (American singer)

Khalid Donnel Robinson (born February 11, 1998), known mononymously as Khalid, is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for his R&B and pop-influenced vocals and introspective lyrics often dealing with themes of youth, identity, and relationships.

Khalid rose to prominence in 2016 with his debut single "Location," which gained significant traction on social media and online streaming platforms. The song eventually peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His debut studio album, American Teen, was released in 2017 to critical and commercial success. The album was certified multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and established Khalid as a major figure in contemporary music.
