Hank Griffin (boxer)

Hank Griffin is a fictional character in the NBC supernatural police procedural drama Grimm. He is portrayed by Russell Hornsby. While not initially aware of the supernatural world, Hank is Nick Burkhardt's police partner and close friend in the Portland Police Bureau.

Initially, Hank is a seasoned detective with a reputation as a ladies' man and a somewhat cynical worldview. He becomes increasingly perplexed by the strange cases Nick investigates, eventually learning the truth about Wesen (creatures from Grimm folklore) and Nick's identity as a Grimm (a hunter of Wesen).
