Greg Kihn

Greg Kihn (born Gregory Kihn, July 10, 1949) is an American rock musician, radio personality, and novelist. He is best known as the frontman of the Greg Kihn Band, which achieved significant popularity in the 1980s.

Kihn began his music career in the San Francisco Bay Area, performing in local clubs and venues. He signed with Beserkley Records in the early 1970s, releasing several albums before achieving mainstream success.

The Greg Kihn Band's breakthrough came with the release of the album Rockihnroll in 1981, which featured the hit single "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em Like That Anymore)." This song catapulted Kihn and his band into the national spotlight. Other notable songs by the Greg Kihn Band include "Jeopardy" (1983) and "Reunited" (1982). The music video for "Jeopardy" received heavy rotation on MTV, further solidifying the band's popularity.
