Reid Hall (Miami University)
Reid Hall is a residence hall located on the Western Campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. It is one of the three original residence halls built on Western Campus, along with Stonebridge Hall and Symmes Hall, when the campus was repurposed from the Western College for Women.
Reid Hall primarily houses upperclass students. It offers traditional double occupancy rooms. Specific room amenities vary, but generally include beds, desks, chairs, and closets/wardrobes for each resident. Common areas within the hall provide spaces for studying and socializing.
As part of the Western Campus residential experience, Reid Hall residents have access to campus amenities such as dining halls, recreational facilities, and libraries. The hall is also near several academic buildings on Western Campus, making it a convenient location for students with classes in those areas.
Reid Hall, along with the other Western Campus residence halls, contributes to the overall residential life experience at Miami University, fostering a sense of community among its residents through various hall-sponsored activities and events. The building's presence on Western Campus reflects the historical evolution of Miami University and the integration of the former Western College campus.
