Paul Gray (civil servant)

Paul Gray (born 1957) is a retired Australian public servant who held a number of senior positions in the Australian Government.

Gray's career spanned several decades and included leadership roles in key departments. He served as Secretary of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, he was Director-General of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) from 2005 to 2009.

Gray's tenure as Director-General of ASIO coincided with a period of heightened focus on national security and counter-terrorism.
