Frank Richardson (footballer, born 1897)

Frank Richardson (born 1897, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as a full-back.

Richardson began his career with hometown club Shildon Athletic before joining Football League side Darlington in 1921. He spent three seasons with Darlington, making over 50 league appearances for the club. Following his time at Darlington, he moved to York City in 1924, where he played for one season. After leaving York, details of his subsequent career are currently unavailable.
