Tveit Church (Vestland)

Tveit Church is a parish church in Voss municipality, in Vestland county, Norway. It belongs to the Church of Norway and is part of the Hardanger og Voss prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1937, replacing an older church on the same site. The church seats about 300 people. It is located in the village of Tveit, approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) southwest of the village of Vossevangen.

The first church in Tveit was a wooden stave church, likely built in the 12th century. That church was torn down in 1880 and replaced with a wooden church that was consecrated in 1881. In the mid-1930s, it was decided to replace that church. The current church was designed by Torgeir Alvsaker and consecrated on 10 October 1937.
