Duchess of Rutland (1786 ship)
The Duchess of Rutland was a British East India Company (EIC) East Indiaman launched in 1786. She made five voyages for the EIC to India and China before being sold in 1800.

The Duchess of Rutland was built at Blackwall Yard by Perry, and launched on 13 July 1786.

Voyage 1 (1787-1788): Captain John Pascall left The Downs on 24 February 1787, bound for Madras and China. She reached Madras on 20 June and arrived at Whampoa on 12 September. Homeward bound, she crossed the Second Bar on 29 January 1788, reached St Helena on 24 April, and arrived back at The Downs on 21 June.

Voyage 2 (1789-1790): Captain John Pascall left The Downs on 19 February 1789, bound for Madras and China. She arrived at Madras on 15 June and Whampoa on 29 August. Homeward bound, she crossed the Second Bar on 29 January 1790, reached St Helena on 15 April, and arrived back at The Downs on 23 June.

Voyage 3 (1791-1792): Captain John Pascall left The Downs on 11 February 1791, bound for Madras and China. She reached Madras on 28 May and Whampoa on 19 August. Homeward bound, she crossed the Second Bar on 14 January 1792, reached St Helena on 16 April, and arrived back at The Downs on 15 June.

Voyage 4 (1793-1794): Captain John Pascall left The Downs on 9 March 1793, bound for Madras and China. She reached Madras on 12 July and Whampoa on 27 September. Homeward bound, she crossed the Second Bar on 21 January 1794, reached St Helena on 15 April, and arrived back at The Downs on 19 June.

Voyage 5 (1795-1796): Captain John Pascall left Portsmouth on 20 March 1795, bound for Bengal. She reached Diamond Harbour on 10 August. Homeward bound, she was at Sagar on 20 November and reached St Helena on 27 February 1796. She arrived back at The Downs on 29 April.
Fate:
The Duchess of Rutland was sold in 1800.
