Jimmy Brown (cricketer)

Jimmy Brown (born 11 December 1976) is a former English cricketer. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler, Brown played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

Brown made his first-class debut for Northamptonshire in 1996. He played regularly for the county until 2000, scoring over 500 runs in the 1999 season. He then moved to Leicestershire, where he played from 2001 to 2003. His most productive season for Leicestershire was 2001, where he again exceeded 500 first-class runs.

Following his professional cricket career, Brown has worked in cricket coaching.
